2. Hosting and access data

This website is hosted with Compositiv GmbH, Hammer Deich 30, 20537 Hamburg, Germany. Technical hosting is provided through its processor Artfiles New Media GmbH. According to Compositiv, the data centres are operated exclusively in Germany with German contractual partners, and no data is transferred abroad as part of this hosting service.

When you request a page, image, video or document, technical request data is transmitted to the hosting infrastructure. According to Compositiv, access logs record the date, the full IP address (without shortening), the requested path, the user agent and the response code. Error logs record error messages and the date.

The purpose is to deliver the website, diagnose faults and maintain security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting the legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website.

According to Compositiv, log files are retained for 100 days and then automatically deleted. Backups have an additional standard retention period of 7 days, so copies of deleted logs may remain in backups during that period.

3. Email and telephone enquiries

If you contact Guido Schulte, the contact details and information you provide are processed to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries connected with a contract or requested pre-contractual steps, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence, based on the legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Correspondence is handled through the email and telecommunications services used for communication. The published mailbox is a t-online.de address. Messages and related records are retained for handling the enquiry and, where applicable, for statutory record-keeping or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Once these purposes and applicable retention duties no longer apply, the records are deleted.

There is no contact form. Revealing the email address takes place in your browser and does not send a message. Activating the email or telephone link opens your device’s configured application.

4. Cookies, analytics and local media

The website code does not set cookies or use local storage for tracking. It contains no analytics scripts, advertising pixels or embedded social-media widgets. Images, videos, fonts and the portfolio PDF are served from this website’s hosting space. Browser caching may retain downloaded resources on your device according to your browser and server settings.

Gallery navigation and the interactive camera views run in your browser. They do not transmit interaction profiles to an analytics service. Downloading their media still creates ordinary hosting requests as described above.

5. External links

Links to Instagram, Eyeland Design Network and other external websites take you to services operated by their respective providers. No Instagram content is embedded here. When you follow an external link, the destination processes your request under its own privacy information. Its processing may involve countries outside the European Economic Area.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.
